Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and highly skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our talented imaging squad. Utilizing advanced ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, collaborate with a team of supportive professionals, and contribute to easing patients' anxieties through precise and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Carry out various ultrasound examinations—spanning abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear and compassionate explanations along the way
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce superior diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues as they arise
• Debrief procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proven technical proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
