Position Overview

• Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures while clearly explaining each step in a compassionate manner
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues as necessary
• Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures and uphold patient records within the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current ARDMS certification or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
