Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound imaging equipment while promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain thorough patient records using the electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferably completed a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
