- Experience interpreting in high school settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and school staff
- Completion of fingerprinting and drug screening in accordance with district requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide interpretation services to high school-aged students in educational settings, adapting sign language to various learning contexts and individual student needs
- Facilitate clear communication between students, teachers, and peers in classrooms and school events
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional standards consistent with ethical interpreting practices
- Collaborate with school personnel to support students’ participation in the full academic experience
