Information Systems Specialist

The Information System Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, supporting staffing processes, and optimizing system functionality within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment. This role serves as a cross-functional resource to Human Resources, Payroll, and Business and Finance by providing data analysis, reporting, and process improvement. This role ensures data accuracy, compliance, and alignment across the full employee lifecycle, while advancing system automation, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiencies. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the district.

The Information System Specialist reports to the Director of Human Resources.

The Information System Specialist works within the Human Resources department.

The FLSA status for this position is Exempt.

The calendar for this position is 12 month / 8 hour day.

The physical requirements for this position include frequent sitting, telephone use, and computer use. Occasional standing, walking, bending/stooping, reaching/pushing, reaching/pushing/pulling, climbing stairs, driving, lifting 20 lbs, and carrying 20 feet are also required.

The working conditions for this position are frequent inside work.
