Position Overview

We are in search of a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our expanding team of imaging professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. You'll harness cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform vital diagnostic procedures, partner with a collaborative team of clinicians, and provide patients with clarity and reassurance through timely and accurate imaging.

Responsibilities Overview

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, clearly explaining every step with sensitivity and care
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment diligently, reporting any technical issues promptly
• Meticulously document procedures and maintain accurate patient records within our electronic medical system
• Remain informed on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred: Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or similar
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred
