Commercial HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills for commercial HVAC equipment , including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, and boilers . This position involves diagnosing, quoting repairs, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC equipment for a variety of facilities. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting complex mechanical and control systems in the field.
Responsibilities- Diagnose problems and prepare estimates in ServiceTitan to present to customer
- Repair and maintain commercial HVAC systems including RTUs, chillers, boilers, and associated controls
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical components
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations to customers and management
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with applicable codes
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation in ServiceTitan
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC service experience
- Must own basic hand tools
- Strong knowledge of RTUs, chillers, boilers, pumps, and hydronic systems
- Ability to diagnose electrical and control issues
- HVAC Technician Registration or Certification from TDLR
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on rooftops or mechanical rooms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude and good customer communication
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS/BMS)
- Experience with ServiceTitan field management software
- Experience with VFD, cooling towers, and hydronic systems
