Strong Memorial Hospital
Neuro Medicine ICU - Registered Nurse
This position follows a 3x12.0 schedule with night rotations.
The Neuro Medicine ICU is a state-of-the-art Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit primarily focusing on caring for critically ill Neuro patients. Patients may present with conditions such as traumatic brain injury, aneurysms, status epilepticus, strokes, and other critical neurological pathologies.
Provide specialized nursing and medical care to critically ill Neuro patients.
Monitor and manage patient conditions using telemetry skills.
Collaborate with medical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Utilize critical thinking and organizational skills in delivering care.
Current RN License in New York.
Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in ICU acute care.
Certification in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
NIHSS certification is required.
Telemetry experience is mandatory.
Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills are essential.
