RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Night Shift

Schedule

4x12-Hour Night Shifts (19:00 - 07:00), with weekend requirements of every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU). The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients with various critical conditions, including respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, and multi-organ failure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, implementing care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments, including IV fluids and cardiac drips.
• Provide respiratory support and manage ventilated patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams and respiratory services.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort through vigilant observation and intervention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY RN license in hand is mandatory.
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in critical care or MICU.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is a hard requirement.
