Seasonal Parks Maintenance Worker

The City of Junction City is hiring Seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers to help keep our parks clean, safe, and enjoyable for the community. If you enjoy working outdoors, staying active, and seeing the results of your work every day, this is a great opportunity to build hands-on experience.

Examples Of Duties

• Maintaining ballfields (dragging, lining, and setup for games)
• Cleaning and maintaining restrooms, shelters, and park buildings
• Performing basic repairs
• Setting up and taking down equipment for events and programs
• Picking up trash and keeping parks clean and safe
• Assisting with small construction or improvement projects

Typical Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age
• Valid driver's license (required)
• Ability to perform physical, outdoor work
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
• Dependable and able to work independently
• CDL is a plus, but not required to start.

Physical Requirements:

• Active, hands-on outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions
• Regular lifting (up to 50 lbs, occasionally more)
