We are looking for a skilled, compassionate, and motivated Full-Time Veterinary Technician to join our team and work closely with our in-house and traveling veterinarians.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who enjoys being hands-on, thinks independently, stays calm under pressure, and takes pride in providing exceptional care to every patient and client.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Veterinary Technician who:

• Has strong anesthesia and surgical monitoring skills
• Is confident with anesthetic protocols, induction, intubation, monitoring, and recovery
• Can recognize changes in a patient's condition and respond quickly and appropriately
• Is comfortable placing IV catheters, drawing blood, administering medications, and monitoring patients
• Has excellent technical, nursing, and patient-care skills
• Works well independently and as part of a veterinary team
• Is organized, dependable, calm under pressure, and detail-oriented
• Has a positive attitude and genuinely cares about patients and their owners
• Enjoys variety and is excited to assist veterinarians with both  i n-clinic appointments and house calls
• Has excellent communication and client-service skills
• Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, safe, and efficient clinical environment

What You’ll Do

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing exceptional nursing and patient care
• Preparing patients for medical procedures and surgery
• Monitoring anesthesia before, during, and after procedures
• Assisting veterinarians with surgical and medical procedures
• Placing IV catheters and managing fluid therapy
• Administering medications and treatments
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic procedures
• Monitoring patients throughout recovery
• Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records
• Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining surgical and anesthesia equipment
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
• Assisting our traveling veterinarian with house calls as needed
• Building trusting relationships with clients and their pets
• Providing clear and compassionate client education

Position Details

Position: Full-Time Veterinary Technician
Schedule: 4 days per week —  No weekends!
Experience: Veterinary Technician experience required; strong anesthesia experience highly valued
