Medical Equipment Customer Service Representative

Providing remote support to customers, the part-time Medical Equipment Customer Service Representative will manage new order intake, billing processes, and patient care inquiries while ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records. Key responsibilities Conduct insurance verification and eligibility checks for services/products Communicate with patients and referral sources to address questions and concerns in a timely manner Prepare accurate files for the Billing Department and ensure quality control throughout patient interactions Required qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent Experience with medical equipment or medical billing practices preferred One year of related work experience preferred Knowledge of medical terminology preferred Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations accurately
