ODC Construction, LLC – Punchout LaborerLocation: Field - FloridaFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSummary: ODC Construction is looking for a Punchout Laborer to perform finishing tasks and final inspections on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, the ability to complete tasks with precision, and a willingness to contribute to the final steps of project completion. This position involves addressing any final touch-ups, repairs, and corrections to ensure the project is ready for handover.Reports to: Director of ConstructionResponsibilities include but are not limited to:Perform punchout tasks such as drywall repairs, painting touch-ups, fixture installations, and other finishing work to complete construction projects.Inspect completed work areas to identify any defects or items requiring attention before final inspection.Address and fix minor issues, including imperfections in paint, trim, flooring, and other interior or exterior surfaces.Install or replace hardware, light fixtures, and other finishing components.Assist with cleaning and clearing out areas to prepare for final inspection and project handover.Communicate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other crew members to ensure tasks are completed on time and according to quality standards.Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.Assist with other general labor tasks as needed to support the crew and meet project deadlines.Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and complies with company and industry regulations.Qualifications/Requirements:Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Effective team player with a collaborative mindset.Adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Excellent organizational and time management skillsTechnologically proficientHigh level of accuracy in data entry and reportingClear, professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal teamsPhysical and Work Environment Requirements:Tasks may include standing, walking, bending, and carrying up to 50 lbs., with or without a reasonable accommodationAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. safely, with or without reasonable accommodation.This position requires the ability to work outdoors for extended periods in a variety of weather conditions, with or without a reasonable accommodation.Excellent benefits package, including:Competitive hourly rateHealth Insurance - Medical, Dental and Vision401k with a generous company matchPaid time off (PTO) & Company-paid Holidays As part of our commitment to providing a safe and secure work environment, ODC Construction LLC conducts background checks and drug screenings on all prospective employees following a conditional offer of employment.By applying for a position with ODC Construction LLC, you acknowledge and agree that:You may be required to undergo a comprehensive background check, which may include verification of employment history, education, criminal records, credit history (where applicable), and other relevant information.You may also be required to complete a drug screening, which tests for the presence of controlled substances in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.The results of these screenings may be used to determine your eligibility for employment.All information obtained during this process will be handled confidentially and in compliance with applicable privacy and anti-discrimination laws.Refusal to consent to a background check or drug screening, or failure to pass either, may result in the withdrawal of any employment offer or termination of employment, if already hired.
