Global Supply Manager

Global Supply ManagerLumafield is seeking a Global Supply Manager to help expand our production capabilities by managing and optimizing our overall supply chain. As a Global Supply Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing custom and off-the-shelf mechanical and electrical components and subassemblies, building and managing relationships with vendors, and working with suppliers on part quality, forecasting, and price reduction.If you are interested in joining a well-funded growth stage company and having a significant impact on innovative hardware products, this is the perfect opportunity for you to become a part of the Lumafield team!What You'll Do:Collaborate with the engineering team to determine current and future sourcing needs and procure components as needed to keep production on scheduleDevelop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing vendorsIdentify risks in the supply chain and define and execute mitigation strategiesIdentify and execute cost reduction opportunities based on a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost driversManage financial and budget outlooks and reporting for the teamAbout You:Have hands-on experience with new product introduction (NPI) of electromechanical productsHave a solid understanding of what it takes to build a responsible and sustainable supply chainAre an excellent written and verbal communicator and are able to communicate in a clear, constructive, and professional mannerAre not afraid of deadlines, complexity, or competing priorities; your flexible attitude means you're happy to consider a variety of alternatives and course correct with easeHave the ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization, using a variety of contexts and dataAre a comfortable negotiator and can hold vendors accountable for meeting cost, quality, and lead time targetsMust be able to lift 30 poundsBonus:Experience leading NPI supply chain and sourcing of complex electromechanical productsAbility to provide DFM guidance and feedback across a broad range of manufacturing processes to hit engineering requirements while optimizing costExperience running supplier auditsExperience working with overseas vendors and global logisticsAbility to understand technical drawings, including GD&TAbility to build powerful yet easy-to-read spreadsheets$125,000 - $155,000 a yearLumafield offers both competitive cash and equity compensation, as well as a health & wellness stipend, 401k, parental leave, flexible PTO, commuter benefits, company wide events and more!Lumafield is committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, because the more inclusive we are, the better our work will be.
