Inventory Control Specialist

Summary of Position:Midwest Hose is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Control Data Specialist to optimize our inventory management operations. This on-site role requires expertise in Trulinx, advanced data analysis, and hands-on collaboration with the inventory and supply chain teams. If you have a strong analytical mindset and are passionate about improving inventory processes, we encourage you to apply!Responsibilities:Analyze inventory data to optimize stock levels, demand forecasts, and replenishment cyclesDevelop reports and dashboards to track inventory KPIs such as turnover rates and stock variancesCollaborate with inventory control teams to ensure accurate data entry and system trackingConduct root cause analyses of inventory discrepancies and recommend solutionsProvide actionable insights to support purchasing and logistics teamsMaintain data integrity across inventory management systems, including TrulinxQualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or Business Administration (preferred)At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, inventory management, or supply chain (required)Proficiency in Trulinx (preferred)Advanced skills in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL)Strong problem-solving, communication, and data presentation skillsERP or inventory management system experience (preferred)Prolonged standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting – 50% daily (subject to change daily)Assist in lifting in adherence to Midwest Hose Safety Standards, pushing, and/or pulling up to 50 lbs.Must be able to meet the physical demands typical in a warehouse environment including but not limited to grasping and fine manipulations with hands, reaching, squatting, climbing, activities working around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, exposure to light dust and fumesImportant Notes:This is an on-site role based in Oklahoma City, OKRemote work is not availableOnly candidates currently residing in or near Oklahoma City will be consideredAbout Us:Midwest Hose is one of the largest hose and fitting wholesale distributors in North America.
