Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kansas license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Favorite Healthcare Program - University of Kansas.

Additional Details:

Required Skills / Experience: 1 year of hospital med-surg

Preferred Skills / Experience: Experience with gtts, such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone and Cardizem

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends per month required

On-Call Requirements: 1 shift/month

Holiday Requirements: Required in rotation

Floating Requirements: May float within scope to ED

7 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
