University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistants to join our team in Canton, MI. As a Home Care Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of others while working in a supportive and respectful environment. Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
Provide medication reminders and monitor clients’ health and well-being.
Support mobility and transfer needs, ensuring safety at all times.
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Communicate regularly with family members and supervisors about client status and concerns.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions.

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field is a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and with compassion.
Reliable transportation to travel to client homes within Canton, MI.
Ability to pass background checks and meet company standards.
