Regis Jesuit Alum Service Corps

The Regis Jesuit Alum Service Corps (RJASC) is open to Regis Jesuit Alumni who have recently graduated from college. RJASC is the program that is all about giving back while moving ahead. Volunteers give back to the Jesuit education that formed who they are today while also being given an opportunity to jump start their future by volunteering at Regis Jesuit High School. Typically, RJASC volunteers teach one or two sections in an area of competence, help with subbing, and immerse themselves throughout the life of the school: coaching, tutoring, club moderating, service programs, campus ministry. RJASC volunteers support students from a unique position and offer them a model of the Graduate at Graduation. RJASC volunteers are regarded as members of the faculty. The volunteers provide a witness of generosity in which they wish to share and grow through their integration of Ignatian service and spirituality. This takes on a number of different forms, but the most significant are the weekly community nights (Mass and dinner) with the Jesuits and the three weekend retreats spread through the academic year. On these retreats RJASC volunteers will gather together with other volunteers to reflect on their experiences, share stories, and seek to notice God at work through their Ignatian service. RJASC volunteers live in an intentional community at a residence provided by Regis Jesuit. Volunteers will also be provided with a monthly stipend, an automobile to share, and health insurance.
