About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Operations to spearhead the growth and scaling of its Health & Welfare operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing strategic leadership and oversight of various functions, including client service, account management, enrollment administration, eligibility, benefits operations, and process improvement. This executive role demands a leader with a proven track record in building high-performing teams, enhancing client and participant outcomes, and driving operational performance. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Operations include establishing operational goals, KPIs, and performance metrics, as well as partnering with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term operational strategies. The role also involves evaluating and optimizing workflows, processes, and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce risk, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. Applicants for the Vice President of Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 15 years' experience in employee benefits, health and welfare administration, or related fields, with at least 7 years in a leadership role. A deep understanding of various health and welfare benefits programs and a proven track record in a similar operational leadership role are essential. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, exceptional leadership and communication skills, and experience in driving organizational growth and strategic initiatives. Preferred qualifications include prior experience in a Health & Welfare TPA environment, experience in technology-driven operational transformations, and knowledge of compliance requirements in employee benefits administration.
