Communications Internship

Location: Center City,Philadelphia, PA (In-person / Hybrid) Duration: Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions available (10–12 weeks) Compensation: Paid internship (rate based on experience) Schedule: Flexible based on academic commitments Note: Internship completion does not guarantee full-time employment; however, high-performing interns may be considered for future opportunities.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

TML Communications is seeking highly motivated, creative, and driven interns to join our award-winning strategic communications firm. As a Communications Intern, you will gain hands‑on experience supporting real client work across public relations, crisis communications, media relations, advertising, and community engagement.Interns will work directly with our team on campaigns that impact communities, shape public narratives, and drive measurable results for clients across corporate, nonprofit, and government sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Interns will support the TML team in executing client work and agency operations. Responsibilities may include: Drafting press releases, media advisories, talking points, and statements Assisting with media outreach and building media lists Monitoring news, social media, and emerging issues Supporting social media strategy and content development Conducting research for client campaigns and proposals Assisting with event planning, staffing, and on‑site execution Supporting podcast, audio, and video content production

IDEAL CANDIDATE

We are looking for candidates who are: Strong writers with attention to detail Passionate about communications, media, and storytelling Organized and able to manage multiple assignments Professional, reliable, and eager to learn Interested in public relations, government, corporate, or nonprofit sectors

PREFERRED MAJORS

Communications Public Relations Marketing Journalism Political Science Business or related fields

REQUIREMENTS

Senior, or Graduate student Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Availability of approximately 15–20 hours per week In‑person availability preferred
