Surrounded by natural beauty, including nearby springs, forests, and Gulf Coast beaches within driving distance, Lake City offers an ideal balance of career opportunity, accessibility, and quality of life.The FacilityThe Lake City VA Medical Center is a high-complexity (Level 1A) VA facility providing both inpatient and outpatient care, making it one of the more comprehensive VA sites in the region.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):Decontaminate, sterilize and assemble dental and/or surgical instrument sets and reprocessing flexible endoscopesMaintain, store and packing of reusable medical equipment (RME) as well as document sterilization and decontamination processesExamine condition of supply itemsAssemble/Package/Wraps/Sterilize supply itemsDistribute items to wards, clinic units or operating roomsReceive, store, control supply item stockRequirements:Certified Surgical Tech or Certified Sterilization TechCBSPD CertificationIAHCSMM Certified or CRCST CertifiedAt least 1 year of experience in related fieldDirect work experience working in a healthcare setting with Dental and/or surgical instrumentation and endoscopesKurzSolutions is committed to improving health outcomes by providing well-managed companies with the top healthcare talent in the market.
