Shipping and Receiving Manager

Position Summary

The Shipping & Receiving Supervisor will lead daily warehouse operations and drive efficiency across inbound and outbound logistics. This role is responsible for team leadership, inventory accuracy, and continuous process improvement while ensuring a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the shipping & receiving team, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and high performance.
• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including scheduling, workload distribution, and workflow execution.
• Set daily priorities and provide clear direction to ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving activities.
• Ensure all incoming goods are accurately recorded in the ERP system to maintain real-time inventory visibility.
• Manage inventory storage and organization, ensuring strict adherence to FIFO practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows, and increase overall efficiency.
• Enforce safety standards and ensure proper operation of equipment, including forklifts, pickers, and other material handling tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
• 1–2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across teams.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification.

Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
