Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the frequency, intensity, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms. Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect clients’ unique needs, goals, and preferences, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, therapeutic options, and effective self-care strategies. Monitor client progress meticulously, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback. Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care and integrated treatment. Engage in continuous professional development by staying updated with the latest research and advancements related to mood disorders, thereby enhancing our therapeutic strategies. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Emerald Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse client population dealing with a variety of mood disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions. Our clients often express a desire for supportive, empathetic care from professionals who genuinely understand their struggles. Your ability to establish trust and rapport will be vital in guiding them through their recovery journeys. Qualifications A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build secure and therapeutic relationships with clients. An empathetic, nonjudgmental demeanor essential for understanding and supporting clients’ diverse experiences. Strong organizational skills and time management abilities, ensuring efficient handling of caseloads and administrative tasks. Preferred Experience Experience working in outpatient settings or with mood disorder populations. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Background in group therapy facilitation and family therapy interventions is a plus. Compensation and Benefits A competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
