Description The Operations Manager - Job Order Contracting will report directly to senior leadership and be responsible for the day-to-day operational performance of the Dallas office. This individual will serve as the operational leader, allowing executive leadership to focus on business growth and strategic initiatives. Lead and oversee all operational activities for the Dallas-area Job Order Contracting business. Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers and construction professionals. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to client expectations. Take direct ownership of Job Order Contracting projects when needed, providing hands-on leadership and support. Drive operational consistency, process improvement, and performance across multiple projects and contract vehicles. Build and maintain strong client relationships with public and institutional customers. Leverage existing industry relationships to support business growth and create opportunities for future work. Profile For the Operations Manager - Job Order Contracting we are seeking: Proven experience leading operations, project management, or construction management teams within a general contracting environment. Strong understanding of Job Order Contracting (JOC), IDIQ, on-call, or similar recurring delivery models. Experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects and managing project teams. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop Project Managers. Established network of industry relationships that can contribute to long-term business growth. Strong financial, scheduling, and operational management capabilities. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Background in K-12, municipal, higher education, healthcare, or public-sector construction projects is highly desirable.
