As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will communicate clearly with customers and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to site leadership.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
