Associate Attorney

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our growing Personal Injury and Mass Torts practice. This is a full‑time, in‑office position ideal for a motivated attorney with 5–6 years of litigation experience who is comfortable independently managing cases while collaborating with a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, strategic, client‑focused, and committed to achieving excellent results. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of personal injury and mass tort matters from inception through resolution Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement demands Handle depositions, mediations, settlement conferences, and court appearances Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers Analyze medical records, liability issues, and damages Collaborate with partners, associates, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategy Ensure compliance with all court deadlines and firm procedures Provide supervision and mentorship to legal assistants as needed Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active and good‑standing license to practice law in California 5–6 years of experience in personal injury litigation; mass tort experience strongly preferred Comfortable handling cases involving sexual abuse and other sensitive issues Proven ability to independently manage cases and deadlines Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills Experience with discovery, depositions, and settlement negotiations Professional demeanor with excellent client communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment Base salary range is $155,000–$175,000 per year (commensurate with experience) End of year performance bonus Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr Andrews & Higgins
