Position Overview

Perspectives in Healing is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide exceptional psychiatric care within our outpatient facility in Dallas, Texas. This role is integral to our mission of delivering accessible and culturally sensitive mental health services. The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary ranging from USD 200,000 to 250,000 annually based on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

Situated in an outpatient office setting, this position demands an onsite presence during regular business hours, specifically from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Our facility is designed for collaboration and efficiency, allowing effective communication among healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose patients' mental health conditions, utilizing evidence-based practices to inform your diagnostic process.
• Provide ongoing medication management, ensuring regular monitoring of treatment effectiveness and patient safety. This involves adjusting medication plans based on patient progress and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members, including primary care providers and mental health staff, to develop and coordinate integrated care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Offer crisis intervention during periods of emotional distress, employing trauma-informed care techniques to support patients effectively.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives, promoting mental health awareness and education to reduce stigma and improve access to mental health services.
• Deliver therapeutic support through individual counseling and psychoeducation, providing patients with coping strategies and resources for mental wellness.
• Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records in compliance with HIPAA guidelines, ensuring that all documentation is completed in a timely manner to facilitate continuity of care.

Qualifications
