Description

• Deliver tailored one-on-one speech therapy services concentrating on areas such as language, fluency, and voice.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, and family members to develop comprehensive care strategies.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families to enhance progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Perform occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a consistent continuum of care.
• Ensure meticulous and prompt documentation in accordance with established state, federal, and institutional guidelines.
• Remain engaged with the latest practices in your field through ongoing education and teamwork.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained.

Certifications

• A valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of starting the position.
