Hamshaw Lumber -Lumber Yard & Warehouse Associate

Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

Hamshaw Lumber is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist customers, receive inventory shipments, and support various areas of the business. Join us and enjoy competitive pay, medical & dental insurance, 401K, vacation, and holiday pay.

Essential Functions:

Provide excellent customer service
Build loads for delivery
Load and unload lumber and building supplies
Operate forklift
Keep management informed of any delays or discrepancies
Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe lumber yard
Participate in occasional deliveries

Required Skills:

Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively
Follow simple instructions and work well in a team
Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must pass pre-employment assessments
Work in outdoor/indoor conditions and lift up to 80lbs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license
Fork Truck experience is a plus
Weekend, holiday, and special event availability
