Overview

MRI Technologist – Radiology (MRI) in Concord, NH. This travel assignment starts 10/19/2026 and runs for 13 weeks with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shift is Nights, structured as 10-hour blocks: Wednesday & Thursday 7:30 pm–6:00 am, Friday 10:30 pm–7:00 am, Saturday 6:30 pm–7:00 am. The position is in a hospital imaging department.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations across specified body areas per orders, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety
• Screen patients for contraindications, position them correctly, select appropriate coils, and adjust sequences
• Monitor patients during scans, maintain comfort, and address any adverse signs or concerns
• Verify patient identity and exam details, document imaging data in the electronic medical record, and ensure accurate labeling of images
• Communicate results and any imaging concerns to the radiology team; support radiologists as needed
• Maintain MRI hardware readiness, room cleanliness, and compliance with safety protocols, including infection control and patient screening

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current ARRT or ARMRIT certification; BLS certification
• Licensed and certified by the NH Board of Imaging & Radiation Therapy
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience in an acute care setting
• 2+ years of phlebotomy experience documented on resume
• EMR experience preferred (Cerner experience preferred, not required)
