Financial Advisor

BrokerHunter is conducting a search on behalf of an independent financial planning and wealth management firm seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career financial professional who wants hands‑on experience working directly with clients while developing toward becoming a Financial Advisor and ultimately building a book of business. The Opportunity Working closely with a Lead Advisor, you will gain practical experience across the financial planning and wealth management process. You will assist with gathering and analyzing client information, preparing financial plans, supporting investment and financial planning recommendations, and helping deliver an excellent client experience. This position is designed to provide both immediate responsibility and long‑term career development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance through the firm's Advisor Pathway , take on increasing advisory responsibilities, and potentially acquire and manage a segment of clients they have helped serve. Responsibilities Assist the Lead Advisor with client relationships and ongoing service Support new client onboarding and retention Gather, organize, review, and analyze client financial information Assist with the preparation and delivery of financial plans Support investment advisory and money management activities Develop and cultivate client relationships Assist with client events and special projects Learn the firm's financial planning, investment, and client service processes Progress toward greater responsibility through the firm's Advisor Pathway Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of financial services or wealth management experience Registered Representative experience preferred FINRA Series 6, Series 63 and/or Series 7 preferred Life & Health Insurance License preferred Previous insurance sales experience is a plus Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with CRM and financial technology platforms Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Desire to develop into a Financial Advisor and eventually build and manage a book of business Why Consider This Opportunity?
