About the Role:
Action Termite and Pest Control Inc is looking for a motivated and personable Pest Technician to join our team in Toms River, NJ! If you're a hands-on problem solver who genuinely loves dogs and doesn't mind getting up close and personal with all kinds of critters, this could be the perfect fit for you. Responsibilities:
- Perform residential and commercial pest control inspections and treatments
- Work directly with our K9s to inspect possible bed bug infestations.
- Identify and treat infestations including bed bugs, termites, rodents, insects, and other common pests
- Apply pesticides, baits, and other pest management solutions safely and effectively
- Communicate findings and treatment plans clearly to customers
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation for each job
- Navigate pet-friendly environments comfortably, including homes with dogs
- Uphold safety standards and follow all state and company regulations for chemical application
Requirements:
- Experience in pest control, extermination, or a related field preferred
- NJ Pesticide Applicator License (or willingness to obtain one)
- Comfortable working around dogs and other household pets
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily route efficiently
- Physical ability to perform inspections in tight spaces such as crawl spaces and attics
