We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Engineering and Product Integration to lead our scaling efforts, enhance our product development processes, and ensure seamless integration across all departments. For more information on the company go to Director of Engineering and Product Integration Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership Develop and implement a strategic vision for product development and engineering that aligns with company and stakeholder goals. Oversee the roadmap for product development, ensuring products meet market demands and maintain technological edge. Process and Project Management Streamline and optimize internal processes to support scalability, focusing on software development, hardware integration, and client support workflows. Lead technical project management efforts with internal resources and 3rd party development augmentation teams, ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining high standards of quality. Technical Oversight Provide technical leadership across teams, ensuring best practices in software and hardware development. Evaluate and integrate new technologies or processes that can enhance product quality, development speed, or operational efficiency. Act as a liaison between engineering, product, support, and other departments, ensuring cohesive and efficient operations. Resolve interdepartmental issues, particularly concerning product bugs or integration challenges. Product Development Drive the product life cycle from conception to launch, ensuring market fit, technical feasibility, and business viability. Collaborate with product managers and marketing to understand market needs and competitive landscape. Team Building and Leadership Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of engineers, and developers. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and high performance within the engineering and product teams. Stakeholder Management Communicate effectively with stakeholders including investors, board members, and external partners about technical strategies, progress, and challenges. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s preferred. 10+ years of experience in software development or systems engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership or senior management role. Proven track record in scaling technology products or companies. Skill and Competencies Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies, and product management principles. Experience with vision systems, AI/ML, or similar technologies is a strong plus. Excellent project management skills with a history of delivering on time and within budget. Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across diverse teams.
