Position Overview At Sam's Club we offer a dynamic and inclusive work environment. This role focuses on prepared food merchandising and provides an opportunity to work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high quality products and excellent member service. Responsibilities Be a Team Member : Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Be an Expert : Prepare food according to specifications, plan production schedules, adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, manage inventory, and operate equipment safely. Be a Techie : Leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience, use handheld technology for real‑time decisions, and encourage adoption of new tools. Be an Owner : Drive area performance, manage inventory rotation, enforce quality and date control, and deliver member service by identifying and meeting member needs. Be a Talent Ambassador : Act as a brand advocate, inspire teammates, and support training efforts. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, including the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other partners; communicate progress; and recommend improvements. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Must successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Safety Certification. Food Service Food Handler Certification. Pay & Benefits The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00, plus additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific tasks.
