Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. The District consists of five buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students - Early Education Building, Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Becker's mission is to develop self-directed learners to thrive in a changing global community. We are seeking an experienced and dependable Night Lead Custodian to oversee evening custodial operations and ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. The Night Lead Custodian will provide leadership to custodial staff, assign and monitor daily cleaning duties, inspect completed work, and address maintenance or cleaning concerns as they arise.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid 2C Boiler License required by the end of the probationary period.
• Previous custodial or building maintenance experience required.
• Prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and building operations.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team during the night shift.
• Dependable, organized, and able to respond to facility needs and emergencies.
• Ability to perform physical duties associated with custodial work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise night custodial staff.
• Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed properly and on schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
• Operate and monitor building systems, including boiler equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Ensure all safety procedures and building policies are followed.
• Assist with emergency or after-hours facility needs as necessary.

Schedule: 2:30PM - 11:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required based on facility needs. Salary & Benefits: Union Scale (see attached contract), per experience.
