Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience with IBM i, AS/400, or iSeries application environments
- Strong proficiency in RPG, RPGLE, CL, DB2 for i, Query/400, batch processing, and job scheduling
- Proven ability to reverse engineer legacy applications, data structures, business rules, and operational workflows
- Demonstrated experience extracting, mapping, validating, reconciling, and migrating complex enterprise data
- Solid background in application-level troubleshooting, legacy reporting, interfaces, and dependency analysis
- Comfort working in environments with incomplete documentation and limited institutional knowledge
- Ability to independently solve problems without a predefined playbook
- Experience in pension administration, benefits administration, HR, insurance, claims, or similarly complex historical data environments is highly desirable
- Serve as the technical authority for the legacy NMIC400/Basys IBM i environment during the transition to a new TPA
- Stabilize and support production operations, including batch jobs, reporting, interfaces, and application troubleshooting
- Reverse engineer RPG/RPGLE programs, CL procedures, DB2 for i structures, reports, and system dependencies
- Discover, inventory, and document the current-state environment, including critical workflows and undocumented integrations
- Identify operational risks and resolve issues related to maintenance, security changes, infrastructure updates, and hidden dependencies
- Extract, map, validate, and reconcile legacy data needed for migration to the future-state platform
- Work with business stakeholders, project leadership, vendors, and external technical teams to define data and reporting requirements
- Preserve critical business logic, historical reports, audit needs, and institutional knowledge before platform retirement
- Support knowledge transfer, reconciliation, handoff, and decommissioning planning for the legacy platform

This role supports our mission-critical IBM i environment built on NMIC400/Basys while we transition to a new Third Party Administrator.
