Job Full Description

Team Leader - 1st Shift

Location: Georgetown, KY

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday plus 2 additional weekdays (4-day workweek, 10-hour shifts)

Pay: $20/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a Team Leader to help oversee daily operations in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for assigning work, leading safety meetings, coordinating daily tasks, maintaining quality standards, and supporting team members throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Lead pre-shift and post-shift safety meetings
Assign daily work and coordinate team activities
Ensure work is completed safely and according to quality standards
Monitor productivity and efficiency of assigned tasks
Conduct safety audits and promote workplace safety
Assist with Lockout/Tagout procedures
Operate forklifts and other equipment as needed
Train and mentor team members
Support housekeeping and 5S initiatives

Qualifications

Strong attendance record
Valid driver's license
Previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience preferred
No prior safety violations
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and lead by example

What We're Looking For

This is a working Team Leader position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading a team while also working alongside employees on the production floor. Strong communication, safety awareness, and leadership skills are essential.
