This contract opportunity near Plano, TX, calls for a dedicated professional ready to provide expertise and guidance in behavior management, intervention strategies, and student support services within a dynamic educational environment.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferredValid Texas teaching certification with SPED endorsementsProfessional background or experience in special education, social work, counseling, or similar disciplinePrior experience as a school counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferredStrong knowledge of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs)Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans tailored to student needsConduct and report on Functional Behavioral AssessmentsConsult with teachers and staff, providing ongoing behavioral support and strategiesActively participate in ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetings, collaborating to drive student successProvide classroom support and assist with crisis intervention as neededMaintain thorough documentation and communicate progress to school personnel and familiesThis full-time position offers 37.5 hours each week.
