Job Schedule:
DayTimeThur03:30 PM - 12:00 AMFri01:30 PM - 10:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to identify security-related concerns and report conditions that may need attention.
- Assist with screening visitors, contractors, and deliveries, maintain accurate access logs, and follow post orders related to badge control and entry procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
