We are seeking a Property Manager to oversee two residential communities in Akron, Ohio - one affordable housing property (Section 8 and LIHTC) and one market-rate property. This position is responsible for the overall operations, compliance, and performance of both sites.
Job Duties Include:
- Oversee daily operations, including leasing, rent collection, recertifications, and resident relations
- Ensure compliance with Section 8 and LIHTC requirements at the affordable housing property
- Maintain accurate resident files and documentation
- Coordinate maintenance and ensure properties are well maintained
- Monitor occupancy, expenses, and operational performance
- Communicate regularly with ownership and corporate staff
Qualifications:
- Prior property management experience required
- Knowledge of Section 8 and LIHTC compliance preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with property management software (Yardi preferred)
