Academic Pediatric Gastroenterologist – Winston‑Salem, NC Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking an Academic Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing team at Brenner Children’s Hospital. The Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology includes a multidisciplinary team, including 8 faculty Pediatric Gastroenterologists, 6 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Pediatric Psychologists, a Registered Dietitian, a Social Worker, 5 Pediatric GI Nurses, 5 Endo Nurses, and an Endo Technician. Position Highlights Work/Life Balance: 1:8 call a week (Friday‑Friday). Schedule Mix: 3 clinic days (1 virtual), 1 procedure day (OR & sedation suite), and 1 admin day. Also run a short gut and parental nutrition program through a multidisciplinary clinic and surgical team. Multiple Locations: Winston‑Salem, Clemmons, Kernersville and Greensboro, providing comprehensive care in North Carolina. Advanced Technology: Clinicians utilize EPIC EMR with DAX Copilot, an AI‑powered documentation tool integrated with Epic. Ideal Candidate Graduation from an accredited M.D. or D.O. medical school. Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics. Completion of a Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship. Location: Winston‑Salem, NC.
