Assembler, 2nd Shift

Assembler Assembler – Let’s build tomorrow together. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by performing a variety of operations such as mounting, posting, and aligning parts, setting up equipment for testing, and maintaining production records to assemble comfort units to specifications. What You Will Do Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from a supervisor. Mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components including frames, compressors, fans assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., to completely assemble comfort units. Communicate effectively with team and supervisors. Coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and troubleshoot any issues including shortages or outages. Visually inspect assembled products to ensure that all parts are properly aligned, connected, and functioning correctly. Identify any visible flaws or issues that could affect quality. Package units and parts with all necessary components including warranties and manuals, choosing correct packaging materials to protect the product. Maintain a clean and orderly workplace, including sweeping and straightening as required for a safe and productive atmosphere. Perform any and all other department duties as assigned by a supervisor. Job Requirements Read and write English. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read a tape measure. Good problem‑solving skills. Prior carpentry or construction experience preferred.
