Pastry Cook

Operating under the guidance of the Executive Culinary Team, the Pastry Cook will execute precise recipes, manage daily production, and ensure high standards of quality, sanitation, and kitchen safety.

Essential Functions

  • Demonstrates hands on approach to all bakery products produced in the Pastry Department ensuring quality, presentation and consistency standards meet company standards.
  • Assist with the development of standardized recipes for all menu items.
  • Ensures that recipes are accurate and updated as needed.
  • Ensures that all food products prepared meet the established specifications and standards.
  • Responsible for complete set up, cleanliness and organization of the Pastry Department and bakery areas at all kitchen locations.
  • Seeks to maintain knowledge of industry trends in the world of pastry and baking.
  • Bake fresh pastries, desserts and breads for all outlets.
  • Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.
  • Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
  • Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management.
  • Available to work non-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a high volume preparation environment.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

Compensation

$28.76/hr
