Values: Curious & Creative Hungry For Food & Results Entrepreneurial Forward Thinking & Flexible Supportive (Of Peers & Chefs) Position Summary: The Produce Specialist team member is responsible for reworking produce being received into the warehouse, ensuring that our high-quality standards are met. This associate also ensures all food safety procedures and GMP's are being followed. Shift: Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm What you'll do: Inspects all incoming produce for defects. Exercises judgment when conducting audits to ensure all product meets our high standard of quality. Culls/trims/ repack produce to meet presentation and quality guidelines. Conducts routine audits to ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are practiced. Maintains all paperwork in an accurate, orderly fashion. Assists other departments as needed. About you: High School Diploma or GED Works with Quality Assurance Team to ensure specific Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed. Employee shall adhere to all company food safety policies, procedures, and trainings. 2 year of previous quality control experience with produce. Quality control experience in a produce warehouse preferred. The above job description is not an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position.
