Beginning in 1954 as a small regional demolition firm, we now tackle a breadth of large-scale projects across the contiguous United States, Alaska, Canada, and the Pacific RimJob SummaryThe Demolition Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing projects, field crews, and subcontractors. This position requires a high level of proficiency in leadership and demolition, ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the safety culture that Northwest Demolition maintains.Travel will be required. Must be willing to travel and work from project sites across the United States for extended periods of time. Typically following a 6 week on 1 week off rotation.  To provide leadership: Establish/maintain efficient & effective working relationships with crew and staff.Manage field operations and coordinate with other personnel, subcontractors, and vendors. Thorough understanding of scope of work and schedule.Takes personal responsibility for fostering a safe workplace by following safety policies and procedures.Ability to read and interpret work plans and sketches, working with the Project Manager to determine work scope.Supervise and coordinate site activities, production schedules and estimate work requirements for completion of job assignments and schedule requirements.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address any issues related to the project. Ensure all safety documentation is rigorously performed.Ability to directly supervise mid to large demolition projects with crew sizes ranging from 3-10 employees plus numerous subcontractors.Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and accurately.Manage equipment onsite.
