Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to provide specialized cardiovascular surgical care within a dynamic hospital setting. The role involves supporting perioperative services for cardiac patients, ensuring safety and optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative assessments and prepare patients for cardiovascular surgeries.
• Assist during surgical procedures, maintaining sterile environments and supporting surgeons.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to intraoperative changes.
• Manage postoperative care, including wound assessment and patient stabilization.
• Document surgical procedures and patient responses accurately.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient care continuity.

Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR or cardiovascular surgical nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in perioperative patient management.
• Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
