Loan Servicing Specialist

Description A friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Loan Servicing Specialist is needed to join our team. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. Primary Responsibilities Prepares and reviews loan documents to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and bank policy. Researches past loan history to identify necessary adjustments and resolve customer and loan officer requests. Monitors collateral insurance and tracks it under bank policy. Prepares adverse actions, loan modifications, extensions, mortgage satisfactions, lien releases, partial releases, subordinations, paid notes, and final escrow statements. Supports servicing document processing and accounting, including general ledger balancing, data entry, document review, filing, and payment research/audit functions. Ensures correct posting of payments and manages loan transaction payoff. Sets up automatic payments, payment processing, loan advances, construction draws, participations, and other core system maintenance. Assists other departments as needed and performs additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience in the financial services industry. Two (2) years of experience in loan processing or customer service. What’s in it for you Full-time, 40 hours per week.
