Job Description Summary Able to perform all angiographic and interventional procedures. Able to perform all radiographic procedures. At least two years' experience in general radiography and six months of special procedures is preferred. Operating angiography equipment, contract injections, proper use of stints, catheters, and guide wires. Properly documents all patient history, impressions and other information, properly labels films and other patient records. Insures patient comfort with the use of all accessories including management of IV pumps and supplies. Insures that the patients are aware of your concern for them through proper communication and emphasis on patient comfort needs. Performs general radiography exams including pacemakers and operating room procedures. Maintains supplies and equipment to a level that insures the best possible patient care, safety and convenience. Additional Job Description: Performs other miscellaneous duties as required. Education Associates Degree from an AMA approved school of radiological technology. Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists, Cardio-Interventional Vascular Registry (CIVR) or Cardio-Interventional Vascular Therapy (CIVT).
