Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Adult Emergency Room team. This position requires a strong focus on providing high-quality emergency care while ensuring patient safety and comfort. The nurse will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.

Shift Details

Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts
Shift Times: 07:00 - 19:00 or 11:00 - 23:00
Every Other Week (EOW) Requirements
Local candidates are allowed

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting with various medical emergencies.
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Monitor and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
Educate patients and families on health management and procedures.
Adhere to established protocols and best practices in emergency care.

Qualifications

Current and valid Registered Nurse license.
Previous experience in an emergency room or critical care setting is preferred.
Proficiency in electronic medical records, specifically Epic.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and make quick decisions.
