Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nurse Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Proficiency with electronic health record systems required IV start experience required Telemetry experience required Ventilator management experience required Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend day shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. Float policy requires nurses to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Critical care float pool positions offer exposure to Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, and Medical ICUs. Additional floating opportunities include Cardiology/Diagnostics and CVICU. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management. Previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred. Ensure compliance with required certifications and experience to deliver high-quality patient care. Nurses will manage complex patient cases in critical care settings. This role will involve collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position requires a commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to clinical guidelines.
